It’s Sunday now. Going over my to do lists. One thing I do every Sunday is to go over my investment plans for the week. I trade stocks and futures, so I go over my lists of potential stocks to trade for the week.

By now I have it down to an organized method of searching for the right stocks to trade. The problem I see with the way a lot of people invest is that they have no plan. Seems they trade based on someone knowing someone who works with someone who heard something. That’s a recipe for disaster.

If you study the great investors of or time, the Warren Buffets, Paul Tudor Jones and Peter Lynch types, you will all see that they had a method of trading. Nothing scatter shot, just a simple list they would follow in order to trade profitably.

The key I feel is to find a method that works and then see if a stock meets the criteria to trade. This makes stock selection very easy in the end. You go down the checklist and either the stock makes the grade or you toss it and look for others. This uncomplicates your stock selecting process.

I guess you can call it
